As Chief of Staff to the Executive Director, you will play a central role in the daily functioning and long-term direction of the organization. The position combines strategic coordination with hands-on delivery: supporting governance, engaging members, contributing to key workstreams, and ensuring the Executive Director and Co-Chairs are well-prepared for internal and external engagements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a right hand and assistant to our Executive Director.
- Coordinate the organization’s governance bodies including agenda-setting, materials, speaking notes, and process management.
- Draft and coordinate emails and speaking notes for the Executive Director at internal and external events.
- Support the recruitment of new members: manage the pipeline, coordinate outreach, prepare pitches, and monitor market trends to inform engagement.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of strategic initiatives, working with suppliers, consultants, and external experts.
- Ensure smooth preparation and follow-up for the Executive Director during roadshows, events, and CEO-level meetings.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 5 years experience in strategy or management consulting or in strategic project management.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tight timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting senior-level materials.
- Excellent conceptual and strategic skills, combined with strong analytical capabilities.
- Comfort engaging directly with senior stakeholders (CEOs, CSOs, NGOs, funders).
- Ability to motivate, coordinate and ensure proper time-management among reports.
- International outlook and ability to work across diverse teams and geographies.
- Strong collaboration and influential skills.
- Fluent in English.
