For Ardian, Sustainability is a strategic priority.
Ardian launched its Sustainability activity in 2008, under the leadership of its CEO, Dominique Senequier, with the creation of its Profit-sharing initiative through which we strive to redistribute a portion of capital gains to employees of exited companies. Since then, Ardian has continuously developed its Sustainability approach, creating, and implementing tailored ESG programs for all its investment strategies and own operations. 
In order to address increasing ESG-related clients’ requests and rising number of Sustainability projects, Ardian is looking to reinforce its dedicated team with a Sustainability Associate. You will join a team of 6 Sustainability experts working on transversal projects throughout all Ardian’s activities, with international exposure. You will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the Sustainability activity development focusing on clients’ requests and will be involved in projects gathering a wide range of stakeholders across investment strategies, in a stimulating working environment. 
 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  •     Support sharp increase of ESG component of fundraisings 
    • Develop content (slides, presentations, standard wordings, key facts & figures) to address client requests in close coordination with the investor relations team
    • Ensure quality and update of wordings for industry standards Due Diligence Questionnaires: ILPA, PRI, TCFD, GRESB
  • Develop  content for ESG reporting purposes:
    • Produce  and adapt content presenting sustainability achievements for Ardian stakeholders 
    • Develop and harmonize ESG reporting templates for each fund in coordination with Fund Finance teams
    • Produce Sustainability section in marketing presentations for Annual General Meetings and Advisory boards in coordination with investment teams.
    • Coordinate specific ESG clients’ requests with Investors Relations teams: answer ad-hoc reporting requests, annual reporting
    • Answer annual UN PRI Reporting assessment
  • Coordinate preparatory work for ESG meetings with Clients:
    • Prepare briefs for client meetings: description of  context and specific needs of clients/prospects  in coordination with Investor Relations teams
    • Produce standard / tailored decks and content presenting the Sustainability program 
  • Conduct strategic monitoring of ESG standards and frameworks within the industry 

PROFIL REQUIRED 

  • A master’s degree: University, Business School, Engineering School
  • Relevant work experience 1 to 3 years in Sustainable Finance
  • ESG/Sustainability background

Hard skills

  • Relevant knowledge of Private Investment specificities
  • Excellent written communication skills in English & French 
  • Strong analytical capabilities, logical and structured mind, detail-oriented
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, 
  • Intellectual agility to work on multiple work streams simultaneously, with a wide range of internal stakeholders
